Joey's Journey at Pet Practice Newbury
Careful examination of Joey unfortunately diagnosed a cleft palate. There was a large hole in both the hard and soft palate of his mouth. He would need a feeding tube until four weeks old and able to take solid foods.
At 4 months old he underwent successful surgery to repair his cleft palate. He is now a happy, healthy and rapidly growing puppy!
Joey is a Cocker Spaniel puppy that was brought into Pet Practice Newbury at just a day old as he was struggling to suckle from his Mum.
