Lucy’s Journey at Pet Practice Marlborough
This condition can be life threatening and Lucy was scheduled for an emergency ovariohysterectomy to correct this before the infection could spread.

Lucy’s surgery went well and when we saw her and her owner back a few days later she was back to her happy, healthy self.

The lovely Lucy came in to us see at Marlborough for a pregnancy scan five weeks post mating. Sadly the ultrasound scan revealed that the mating hadn’t taken and instead Lucy had developed an infection - called a pyometra.
